Dr. Kathireson is a Board-Certified Atlas Orthogonist. He graduated from Life Chiropractic College West with Research and Magna Cum Laude Honors. During his clinical experience at LCCW he practiced Upper Cervical Chiropractic and focused his research with a prospected study on cervicogenic vertigo and a retrospective study on adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder). He continued this path during his preceptorship at Burcon Chiropractic Research Institute in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he trained with Dr. Michael Burcon, one of the world’s leading experts on Meniere’s disease. After completing his preceptorship, he moved back to his home state of Washington to practice with Dr. Danene Saggau at Lake Meridian Chiropractic. Dr. Saggau, with more than 30 years of experience, honed his skills in Atlas Orthogonality allowing him to complete the Board Certification program through the Sweat Institute of Atlas Orthogonality in Atlanta, Georgia. He is proud to be in the last class that trained under the late Dr. Roy Sweat, the inventor of Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic.
Prior to grad school, Dr. K graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Biology. He did research in his undergraduate studies in Developmental Biology and worked as a personal trainer part-time to pay the bills. Working as a personal trainer, he was able to attain his Master and Rehabilitation Training certifications with a specialty in shoulder rehabilitation. He spent years working with Physical Therapists and Chiropractors before being inspired to go to Chiropractic school to expand his knowledge on how to become a better practitioner.
When he is not in the office, he enjoys rock climbing, surfing, and spending time with his family and friends.
